LadyShe failed to reach out to record companies for support but things were about to alter when she met Rob Fusari a music producer. He was supportive of her musical career and they built a strong friendship that developed into an intimate relationship. It was Fusari who gave her the stage name, Lady Gaga, in memory of the hit track Radio Gaga by Queen, one of Stefani's most loved groups. Akon who was familiar with Lady Gaga's songwriter position, saw her sing at an event and offered her a contract with his record label Kon Live Distribution. Gaga was very happy to accept the offer. This was the beginning of Lady Gaga to be known as a singer. Fusari, RedOne, and Martin Kierszenbaum were her producers at the time.
