Andrea Joy Cook, popularly called A.J. Cook is well known Canadian actress. Best known for playing Jennifer Jareau as a supervisory agent on the CBS crime-drama Criminal Minds. It has run since 2005 as of 2017, and it is in the 13th season. Cook was born in Oshawa Ontario, Canada. Her early life was devoted to acting. An appearance on the TV show Goosebumps began her career in acting. She made her film debut in 1999 with the drama film The Virgin Suicides. The film however was not a huge success. In the following year, she began playing as a character in the American Canadian drama series Higher Ground in which she was one of the main parts. She then began her career in Criminal Minds, a police-crime drama which gained her immense popularity. Her most notable work is the series.
