Awkwafina

Awkwafina was initially an American musician and rapper releasing sly tracks that tackled questions of race and sexual identity with a comedic twist. Prior to her move to Hollywood her career, she was able to perform a variety of tracks. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Koreans. Later, she began the classical and hip-hop genres. At college, she was studying journalism and women's studies. She even spent a short time studying Mandarin during her time in Beijing. However, it wasn't until she graduated when she decided to turn her attention to music. After gaining viral fame through the Internet and her own My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually appeared on her debut album Yellow Ranger. It also included viral hits, such as body positive Queef and winking tour of her home NYC Bitche$. The second track linked into Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in 2015, which was a different idea. Apart from being a published author and a singer, she was also a professional as a singer. In addition to early shows like Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies such as Neighbors 2. Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018 she landed her first major role in a number of high-profile films like Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. In June she debuted her debut film, In Fina We Trust.
