
Teri Hatcher was born Teri Lynn Hatcher on the 8th of December 1964 in Palo Alto California. Her mother Esther was a Lockheed Martin computer programmer, and her father Owen was an electrical engineer, nuclear physicist, and she was educated by Esther. Teri took ballet classes at the San Juan School of Dance and was born in Sunnyvale, California. She attended Fremont High School, where she was leader of the Featherettes dance team. She was named "Most Likely to Become a Solid Gold Dancer." After graduating Hatcher went on to study engineering and math at De Anza College and took acting classes at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri revealed that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone had sexually attacked her since the age of five. She also helped Santa Clara County prosecutors in their case against Stone following the 14-year-old victim of Stone's took her own life. Stone received a sentence in prison after pleading guilty in four counts of molestation and later died of colon cancer in prison
